Snowfall and freezing temperatures put Spring on hold in Preston

Snow expected as Met Office ramps up weather warnings to amber
Falling temperatures and more snow are expected to cause disruption in Preston and across the North West this week. The Met Office has issued an amber warning for snow on Tuesday from 2am until 9am, disrupting the morning commute. Up to 10-15cm of snow could fall within six hours particularly on higher group. Snow disruption in Lancashire
Heavy snowfall is caused huge disruption to some of Lancashire’s motorways overnight. The M65, M58 and in particular M6 motorways were affected with drivers being stuck for hours on the M6 between junctions 25 and 27. Police warning to drivers as snow expected in Preston from Friday morning
Snow showers are set to cause disruption in Preston and Lancashire from Friday afternoon. The Met Office has issued a yellow warning and expects between 5-10cm of snow to blanket the city from the early hours of Friday morning.
