Blog Preston has loads of ways that you can get involved:
Get the latest Blog Preston posts without having to trawl back to the homepage all the time! Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a fantastic invention which allows you to get the latest articles delivered into a reader, you can also add loads of other website feeds into your RSS reader. This allows you to consume loads of information without visiting loads of websites every day. RSS readers we recommend are Google Reader or Bloglines.

Follow Blog Preston on Twitter
Twitter is a micro-blogging platform. Imagine Facebook status updates but with links in and far more useful. Make connections and even catch the Preston Blog latest posts as they happen. Sign up for Twitter and then find Blog Preston and click the ‘Follow’ option. We might even ‘Follow’ you back and see your updates.

Comment on posts
We want your views. On every post you can leave your comments. If you’re viewing on the homepage then just click the ‘comments’ bit at the bottom of the post and you’ll be able to fill in a few details (don’t worry, we won’t use your email address for anything!) and leave your response to the post. If you’re on a posts unique page then you’ll be able to see the add comments box at the bottom of the post.
Write a guest post
If you fancy writing for Blog Preston then you’re more than welcome. Just drop us an email at contactus@blogpreston.co.uk and we’ll give you a username and password. You’ll then be able to add your post. We welcome any opinions, reviews or news posts. In your email give us an idea of what you’d like to write about, as long as it relates to Preston then we’ll probably say yes!

Down the right hand side of Blog Preston you’ll see a big list of websites under categories e.g. Local Bloggers. If you want your website on this list or have seen one you think should be on the list, drop us an email at contactus@blogpreston.co.uk and we’ll take a look and most likely add you.
Have your photos of Preston featured
You might have noticed that on the left-hand side of the blog there is a box with three photos of Preston. These are pulled automatically from a flickr group dedicated to photos of Preston. To have your photos featured you’ll need to sign up on flickr (free photo sharing website) and join the Preston flickr group. Upload your photos and add them to the Preston flickr group and they may well appear on the right-hand side of this blog!
