Pensioner killed following city centre bus smash

Dorothy Sumner fell and broke her hip while travelling on a double decker bus down Church Street. Egg rolling to take over Avenham Park on Easter Monday

Taxi officer worker fined for smoking in workplace

Usman Musa of Coleman Court, Preston, pleaded guilty to smoking within a smokefree place and failing to prevent persons smoking in a smokefree place. Lancashire Market to return on Easter weekend

New flyering permits net city council £3,500 windfall

The scheme, launched in late September last year, has seen 28 permits applied for and granted by the city council.
