Preston schools to compete in county-wide summer sports competition

Two Preston schools will be representing the city in a county-wide competition. Longsands Community Primary School in Fulwood and St Andrew’s School in Ashton will both compete at the Lancashire SPAR Summer Games. Lia Green: Mother Natalie Critchley found guilty of child cruelty

A mother has been found guilty of child cruelty following the death of Lia Green. Natalie Critchley, 21, was convicted by the jury at Preston Crown Court following the death of her three-year-old daughter in August last year. Preston motorists to be offered free number plate protection screws

Motorists in Preston are being urged to keep their number plates safe by police. Free number plate screws will be handed out on Saturday 11 May at Asda, Fulwood, to combat car-related crime.
