Christmas Shopping: Free car parking in Preston city centre during run-up to Christmas

An attempt to boost the city centre by offering free parking in the run up to Christmas has been announced by Preston City Council. Search continues for missing Fulwood pensioner John Rayton

Police and mountain rescue teams have issued an appeal for a pensioner to return home to Preston. 70-year-old John Rayton from Fulwood was last seen leaving his home on Sharoe Green Lane at 8.30am on Thursday 15 Noveber.
