Three Preston stores have been fined by police for selling alcohol to children. An Ashton store was found to have sold booze on two occasions to a 15 and 16-year-old. Another two stores, one in Ribbleton and another in Goosnargh, were caught once selling alcohol to a minor. Police are appealing after a man was threatened with a handgun by two men on the footpath alongside Sulby Drive. Dorothy Sumner fell and broke her hip while travelling on a double decker bus down Church Street.
