20th, October 2011 by Joseph StashkoThis afternoon we recieved a direct message to the Blog Preston Twitter account from Lancashire Constabulary that looked suspiciously like one of the spam messages that’s been going around. If you’re on Twitter, you’ll have seen them; “Someone’s written a bad blog about you”, “You have to see this photo”, etc. After clarifying with Lancashire Police that it indeed wasn’t a spam link, I checked out [...]

Contribute and suggest changes to the site
20th, June 2011 by Joseph StashkoI’ve had a few thoughts for the site over the last couple of weeks, so I thought it best to share them. A cow on Twitter? Pull the udder one!
1st, March 2011 by James RocheStephen Fry may have milked social networking site Twitter for all it’s worth, but now he has competition. We’ve had a really great response so far with lots of our followers letting us know their thoughts on games at Deepdale. Live coverage is really good [...]

Post a commentWhat happened at Preston Tweetup?
18th, March 2009 by Ed WalkerI really didn’t know what to expect when I floated the idea of Preston Tweetup and it just goes to show how a decent idea can really go places when people get on board. The night itself generated a fantastic response and fantastic ideas.

8th, March 2009 by Ed WalkerI was browsing the web and came across this excellent site that lists which MPs are on Twitter and gives you an insight into the corridors of power. It’s called Tweetminster. It got me thinking, is Preston’s MP Mark Hendrick on Twitter?
