The final preparations are taking place for the return of the Lancashire Market to Friargate and Orchard Street.
AdvertisementOn Saturday 30 March the market will see over 100 local food, drink and craft producers take over the city centre street.
Over 300,000 people have visited the Market since they began in 2010.
Mark Whittle from the Preston Business Improvement District who fund the markets said: “Several towns regionally host markets, but no one does what we do, on this scale, which is why it’s proved to be ever so popular. We take the best that Lancashire has to offer and promote that as far and wide as possible.”
“People travel from all over the North West to visit provingt there’s a healthy appetite for family friendly events that offer quality local produce.”
On offer will be artisan breads, cheeses, fresh meat, handmade chocolates and much more.
Wrap-up warm for it though, the weather is set to be cloudy and temperatures are around 5 degrees for Saturday but wind chill will make it feel like -3.
