Preston Mayor’s Ball raises thousands for charity

The Mayor of Preston held a charity ball on Friday 22 May as he closes in on the last weeks of his stint as Mayor.

Councillor Carl Crompton has had the honour of being the mayor for the Guild year and its certainly kept him busy.

The Guild Hall was filled with nearly 300 guests for an evening of food and entertainment, plus raising loads of dosh for charity at the same time.

Speeches are made by the Mayor and the chief executive of the council
