Six arrested including three teenagers following trouble at Preston North End v Blackpool

Six arrests have been made by Lancashire Police following the pitch invasion at Deepdale.

Fans from both sides have been charged with various offences for trouble before and after Preston’s 1-0 win over Blackpool.

Adrian King, 44, of Alford Ford in Fulwood has been charged with using threatening words to cause harrassment. This took place inside Deepdale.

King has been bailed to appear at Preston Magistrates Court on Monday 20 August.

A number of teenagers have also been arrested.

A 17=year-old boy from St Albans Road, Blackpool has been charged with criminal damage to a Preston Bus on Lowthorpe Road. He’s been bailed to appear at Preston Youth Court on Monday 20 August.

Another 17-year-old boy from Blacjpool has been arrested on suspicion of using words or behaviour to provoke fear on Deepdale Road.

A 17-year-old boy from Blacjpool from Anchorsholme was given a police reprimand for being dunk and disorderly on the Preston North End concourse.

A 21-year-old man from Blackpool is stll in custody after being arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage on a Preston bus at the railway station.

A 20-year-old man from Poulton was given an adult caution for possessing cocaine.
