Remember the former Odeon cinema? Well, these photos show what it’s like now.

The cinemas has been left to rot but there are still glimpses of happier times.

Urban explorer scrappyNW, whoses photos of Whittingham Mental Hospital and St Joseph’s Orphanage have been very popular on Blog Preston, went into the old cinema.

He even unearthed some archive fizzy pop and alcohol the film-goers used to enjoy.

A campaign group had been set up to find a new use for the old Odeon, but it couldn’t find a way.
