Preston man charged with firearms offence following River Ribble incident

A Preston man has been charged with possession of an air weapon in a public place following an incident on Sunday.

Armed police were called to a location on the River Ribble on Sunday afternoon.

Johnathon Leniewski, 32, of Waldon Street was charged by Lancashire Police.

He is due to appear at Preston Magistrates Court on Monday 3 February.
