Martin Lucas has not been seen since late on Saturday evening

Police have released a new picture of Preston man Martin Lucas who has been missing since Saturday.

Mr Lucas was last seen at his home on Fishergate Hill at around 10pm and left during the night.

Lancashire Police said 51-year-old Mr Lucas may be wearing walking-type clothes such as a fleece, waterproof jacket, jeans or tracksuit bottoms.

He has short light brown hair and is of medium build.

Sgt Victoria Bates from Preston Police said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Martin’s welfare.

“He left his address without any money, bag or phone so his family are also becoming increasingly worried as they haven’t heard from him.

“He is a keen outdoors man who enjoys bird watching and will often go walking so he may be in a rural area.

“Martin suffers from a medical condition and we know that he isn’t in possession of medication that he requires so he may come across as being anxious.

“I would appeal to anybody that may have seen Martin since Friday or knows of his current whereabouts to contact police on 101.”
