New artists impressions show how a new building on Preston College’s Fulwood campus will look.

Costing £3 million the In-Zone also links together three existing buildings on the college making it quicker and easier to get around the campus.
Preston’s College Principal, Dr Lis Smith, said: “Our aim is to make sure our students have the best learning environment and this investment in both the In-Zone and STEM centre means that we will have some of the best facilities in the area.
“It’s great to see the In-Zone starting to take shape as it will really open up and create a hub space at the heart of our campus.”
The In-Zone building is due to be opened during the course of this summer.
In-Zone is part of a £16 million building programme for the campus which is awaiting a decision on whether a new Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics building can go ahead.
Bamber Bridge firm Conlon Construction are carrying out the work at the campus, with Taylor Young architects drawing up the plans.
