Hundreds of runners will be expected to take to the streets of Preston for the annual Run Preston event.
AdvertisementSunday 28 September 2014 sees a 10k, 5k and 2k run happen through the city.
It is the 11th year the event has taken place with many runners doing the route for charity.
Now organised by Fylde Coast Running the route takes in Avenham and Miller Park.
Reader Steve commented on last year’s race: “Great event, with a really interesting route. Tough back end climbing out of Avenham Park, a good crowd of supporters and well organised.”
Blog Preston snapper Paul Melling was at the race last year and took lots of pictures of people competing.
Registration for the race is via the Run Preston website.
The council is advertising for Guilders – volunteers who helped out during the 2012 Preston Guild – to help volunteer at Run Preston.
