Current buildings and car park on Eaves Lane

A workshop and design studio on the outskirts of Preston could be turned into new homes.

Formerly the Odd Chair Company on Eaves Cottage Farm on Eaves Lane, Woodplumpton, the firm is on the move to a new industrial unit nearer the centre of the city.

Now the sites owners want to build six detached homes with garages and parking spaces on the farm, demolishing the current studio and workshop.

They will be five bedroom family homes according to a report prepared by Hurd Rolland architects.

Anyone wishing to comment on the plan can do so on the council website or email devcon@preston.gov.uk quoting refrence number 06/2014/0206 by Saturday 26 April.
