Preston North End left the first leg of their League One play-off in a stalemate, but it was Joe Garner’s right foot that was the talk of the game.

Rotherham were left stunned as Garner delivered one of the goals of the season to bring North End back level.

And his goal went worldwide as it trended on Twitter with football fans buzzing after an incredible volley from outside the box.

PNE must now go to Rotherham on Thursday night to finish the job and move a step closer to the Championship.

Simon Grayson said he was happy with a draw, but without Garner’s wonder strike it may have been a very different story at Deepdale.
