Police will be at the new Evans Cycles store on North Road this Saturday.

Officers are offering the chance for Prestonians to register their bikes and other property for free to the National Property Register.

PCSO Stephen Connolly said: “This means anyone can register their belongings and if they get stolen it makes it a lot easier for us to trace the goods.

“It’s not just bikes we’ll be registering, it could be phones, laptops or other valuables.”

The police will be there from 10am to 2pm on Saturday 10 May.
