Preston’s adopted ship the HMS Charger is at the Docks on Saturday.

The Royal Navy ship which was formally adopted by the city during the Preston Guild has returned.

It steams into the docks around 10.45am and is opening its doors to the public between 1pm and 4pm on Saturday.

The ship will be moored at the Marina’s visitor jetty.

It stays until midday on Monday when it leaves at high tide.
