Blunt will open the two nights of concerts

Final preparations are being made at Hoghton Tower for this year’s Symphony at the Tower concerts.

James Blunt headlines the Friday night show while global classical singer Katherine Jenkins headlines the Saturday.

The weather forecast for Friday looks likely to see some showers during the evening with temperatures of 16 degrees during the evening.

The car park opens at 4pm for the James Blunt show with main gates at 5pm.

Rock FM’s Hywel and Jamie will be playing music before Blunt performs and Ribble Valley acoustic duo the The Remedy will also appear.

On Saturday the car park opens at 5pm and the main gates open at 6pm.

The weather on Saturday for Jenkins’ show is due to be sunny for the start of the evening with some cloud appear later on. The temperature will be 16 degrees.
