Preston was a lively, vibrant place to be on Saturday as Lancashire Encounter got into full swing with music, dance, art and culture in many different forms.
It was a fantastic spectacle which included the Preston Pride event on the Flag Market and plenty opportunity to get involved in activities under the huge red canopies that stretched from the Harris down Birley Street to the covered market.
The Encounter continues on Sunday with a packed programme of events.
