The Lancashire Christmas Market is preparing to set up on the Flag Market for another year.

Chalets will go up in the shadow of the Harris Museum along with an ice rink, alpine bar and attractions for children.

The Christmas Market is to open from Thursday 19 November and runs until Sunday 3 January.

Opening times for the Christmas market are:

10am to 6pm on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday
10am to 8pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays
10am to 5pm on Sundays

The alpine bar will be open

10am to 10.30pm on Sunday to Thursday
10am to 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays
